Traditional exteriors hold a modern-day surprise

When Wellesley College selected us over several competing developers to build new homes on a coveted parcel of land, we knew our approach to a nontraditional traditional home was second to none.

With their distinctive roof lines, commanding front entrances and inviting outdoor living spaces, these gambrel style homes stand proud on historic Washington Street in Wellesley within walking distance to the College and downtown.

A stunning visual centerpiece

We took inspiration from today’s interior design trends and focused on an open floor plan, which maximizes natural light, efficiency of flow and visual attachment to the outdoors. Our driving force was the element of surprise and we found it by creating an outdoor slate courtyard visible to the home’s main living spaces.

To enhance the views from the front entrance, the staircase was re-positioned. The stunning courtyard is now the focal point and it's precisely the way we want you to be welcomed home.

We hand-selected a genuine artist of an architect who is well-versed in the landscape of premier communities throughout Massachusetts. His principled, keen eye allowed us to integrate these 3,600 sq. ft. (with an additional 1,000 sq. ft. potential) newly built homes seamlessly within the existing historical neighborhood.
