A Bustling Suburb West of Boston

Wellesley's location just 13 miles west of Boston features one of the most vibrant town centers in the area. 

Central and Washington Street, as well as Linden Square and Wellesley Hills, are full of interesting shops and restaurants, such as Wellesley Cheese Shop, California-inspired restaurant, The Cottage, and Turkish-inspired Cafe Mangal.  Many more dining and nightlife options can be accessed in Boston by car or train.

Wellesley is also home to four private schools and three colleges.  The renowned and beautiful Wellesley College campus is located near the town center and offers public access to its Davis Museum and Cultural Center.  Top business schools Babson College and highly-ranked Mass Bay Community College also calls Wellesley home. 

Wellesley is also known for its 900 acres of protected open space and two gorgeous lakes.  Several local playgrounds, tennis courts, 25-plus miles of hiking trails, and a golf course provide perfect places for outdoor recreation.

The Full Brook path, a three-mile walking trail, meanders through the town center.  Morses Pond is an ideal spot for swimming.  The Recreation Department sponsors many activities from youth programs to adult education classes. 

Commuter trains run from the three stops in Wellesley to Boston's Back Bay and South Station MBTA.  Route 138 and 495 provide access to Boston.  It’s easy to see the only thing missing from this fabulous community is you.
