Jack Dawley

“As my first boss and mentor once told me, ‘It all starts with the land.’ Having personally walked over 4000 acres of land over the course of my career, the notion of understanding each parcel’s inherent character and personality fuels a passion to carefully select, design and develop exceptional properties.”

John C. Dawley, “Jack”, of Concord and Cataumet, MA, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northland Residential Corporation. He started his career with Northland in 1985 and over the past 35 years has been involved in well over $1.B of real estate investments. With Jack at the helm, Northland Residential has solidified its reputation for building beautiful homes and developing desirable communities. He has been involved in the creation of over 1500 units, comprised of dramatic multi-acre waterfront home sites, luxurious suburban townhomes and multi-family rental communities.

Jack’s New England roots are embedded in the foundation of all he and the Northland team have built. He was raised with his brother and two sisters in East Dennis, where his parents owned and operated a number of successful local businesses. He is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics in 1984, Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in Real Estate in 1992 and Babson College with a Master of Business Administration in 1994.

Jack maintains a significant presence in his local communities, presently serving as a Director of the Cape Cod Five Savings Bank and Cape Cod Community Health Center. Jack has been involved in varying capacities with the National Association of Realtors, the Fessenden and Holderness Schools and has been a Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1985. He served as the President of the Builders Association of Greater Boston – 2012, Treasurer – 2010-2011 and Secretary – 2008-2010, where he and his firm’s work have been recognized both on a National and Local level.

Jack resides in Concord and on Hospital Cove in Cataumet with his wife Sarah. His two adult daughters, Liza and Anna, presently live in the Midwest. Among his greatest joys is sailing the sometimes tranquil (but more often exhilarating) waters of Buzzards Bay or ripping down Rumble on a powder day.
